Lori Schuh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving the needs of clients on the Space Coast for 20 years. Lori joined Board Certified Geriatrician Dr. Rosemary Laird, the founding medical director of Health First Aging Services in 2002. Utilizing evidence based cognitive- behavioral, supportive and relaxation therapies, Lori provided individual and group therapy for adults suffering from depression and anxiety including educational support for clients diagnosed and affected by dementia. Lori continued her work at Health First Aging Services in Merritt Island, FL through 2016. With the closure of the Merritt Island office, Lori has pursued her dream of private practice with the founding of Uplift Counseling.

• Post Master’s Certificate in Mindfulness & Therapeutic Practice, Barry University
• EMDR Certified Therapist, since January 2020
